This abrupt departure from Braun's management comes after Tayloy Swift and the manager famously clashed in June 2019 after Braun acquired the master recordings of the "All Too Well" singer.

Braun sold the Masters for more than $300 million in 2020 as a result of the ongoing dispute, and Swift, 33, vowed to redo her first six albums, which she has already started to do.

Swift herself criticized Braun for the purchase not long after it was made, calling it "gross-out." She wrote on Tumblr, "Scooter has stripped me of my life's work, that I wasn't given the opportunity to buy."

"Essentially, my musical legacy is about to lie in the hands of someone who tried to dismantle it," she continued. "For years I asked, pleaded for a chance to own my work. Instead, I was given an opportunity to sign back up to Big Machine Records and 'earn' one album back at a time, one for every new one I turned in", as reported by PageSix.
