What is Rob Rinder's net worth? Susanna Reid’s friend may replace Piers Morgan on ‘Good Morning Britain’
Rob Rinder can be a replacement for Piers Morgan following his departure from ‘Good Morning Britain’. ITV bosses are now looking for a new host who can have great chemistry with Susanna Reid. Reid and Morgan were very popular together while hosting the show, however, the 55-year-old broadcaster left after attracting huge flak for his comments on Meghan Markle’s Oprah Winfrey interview.
Sources have said the folks behind ‘Good Morning Britain’ are considering Rinder, more popular as Judge Rinder, as Morgan’s replacement. It has been said that the producers of the show would run trial with several presenters alongside Reid over the coming months and the 42-year-old could be the one among them. A source told The Sun, “The dynamic between the two presenters would be instant because they have been good friends for years — even going on holiday together. Though he is often associated with light-entertainment shows, Rob is a no-nonsense lawyer who has the intellectual gravity to tackle any subject. And viewers know he will bring a flamboyant element to GMB as well as a sense of fun.”

As per reports, Rinder and Reid are friends for years. They even went on holidays together, including a boozy break on the party isle of Ibiza. Rinder had said, “Susanna and I only go on holiday for the sex. It’s just me and her. We have sex morning, noon and night.” Not just the holidays, the duo made their appearances together on Channel 4’s Celebrity Gogglebox in 2020 as part of its fundraising 'Stand Up To Cancer' appeal.
ITV reportedly has a list of potential hosts for GMB, which also includes Richard Madeley, 64. However, for now, 46-year-old Ben Shepherd is appearing alongside Reid. Reports also said that if the rotational appearances of several anchors became popular, the producers could make it a permanent thing.
