LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Lil Kim, the trailblazing rapper from New York with a net worth of $500,000 per Celebrity Net Worth, is set to take the literary world by storm with her upcoming memoir, 'The Queen Bee'.

The Grammy-winning artist, born Kimberly Denise Jones, recently made waves by boldly claiming on an Instagram live that presales for her memoir are "surpassing the Bible."

"When we post our presales, we be surpassing the Bible, and that's crazy," the 49-year-old artist said on the livestream. "And the thing is it's, like, the Bible - I don't take that lightly - y'all already know that." However, specific preorder figures have yet to be disclosed.

What is Lil Kim's memoir 'The Queen Bee' about?

'The Queen Bee' promises an intimate look into Lil Kim's life, from her early rap roots in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, to her influential years with the Notorious B.I.G.

The book has been described as "fearless, inspiring, and refreshingly candid" by Amazon, where it is available to preorder. It sheds light on Lil Kim's rise as a solo icon and the challenges she faced in the male-dominated hip-hop industry.

The memoir explores hidden moments of Lil Kim's reign, including her high-profile relationships, battles against industry misogyny, her struggles with self-image and beauty standards as a public figure constantly in the spotlight, and her 2005 prison sentence and home detention that followed her act of lying to a federal grand jury.

"A true page-turner from start to finish, The Queen Bee is every bit as fierce, empowering, and badass as the woman at the heart of this story - and firmly cements her legacy as a true feminist icon," stated the description of the book on Amazon.

Lil Kim's revelations on behind-the-scenes turmoil of her memoir

Despite the hype surrounding 'The Queen Bee', Lil Kim revealed in her livestream that the book faced business troubles, leading to a postponement of more than two years, as the book was originally set to release in November 2021.

"It's some crazy s**t going on behind the scenes," the rapper said in the same livestream. She added, "You have to be really careful when you deal with these book companies because they try to, like, literally take advantage of you."

The memoir, co-written with Kathy Iandoli, promises to be an exciting addition to Lil Kim's legacy. As she stated in a 2021 statement to People, "Many people have thought they knew the story of Lil' Kim, but they have no idea."
