BTS fans were shocked that even non K-pop fans knew about the relation between Jungkook and Diana

SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA: While the United Kingdom is mourning the loss of their monarch, Queen Elizabeth II, there is an interesting theory suddenly making a comeback among K-pop fans about BTS' Jungkook and the late Princess Diana.  With the K-pop idol having one of the biggest fandoms at the moment, it is no surprise that some linked him to the 'People's Princess' who had died on the day Jungkook was born.

ARMY (BTS' fans) have had a long-running inside joke that since Jungkook was born on September 1, 1997, the day Princess Diana passed away, they have a special link. Many fans joke that Diana may have been reincarnated as Jungkook. Well, this theory made a comeback when non-K-pop fans started tweeting about it on the day of Queen Elizabeth II's death on September 8.

BTS' Jungkook linked to Diana

The Internet is remembering Queen Elizabeth II in several ways. Some have taken to humor like the joke that the late monarch might be reborn as the child of YouTuber Trisha Paytas who is about to give birth. In response to it, a Twitter user shared that this theory was as wild as Diana being reborn as Jungkook. With BTS fans being shocked that even local Twitter knows about this theory, Jungkook and Diana have ended up trending.

The user had been amused, "People saying why do they know this like that person didn't get clowned to deactivation when they made the thread please everyone knows the Diana Jungkook theory thread that's as fundamental of a Twitter text as when God sings is a turtle (named Sheldon) not part of the choir?"

'Frozen in shock'

Fans made tweets like, "One of these days namjoon is gonna mention the Jungkook princess diana thing and we’re all gonna be frozen in shock." An ARMY wrote, "Jungkook walking to the queen elizabeth funeral knowing he is princess diana in disguise." Another ARMY posted, "Jungkook was getting sleepy during the live bc the spirit of diana within him was getting stronger and she needed to take over his body to finally witness the death of queen elizabeth."

One fan joked, "Army twt in jail after spreading a whole diana jungkook agenda." One fan wrote, "Eating up princess diana jungkook content like my life depends on it." Another fan was impressed, "Even all the locals know about jungkook diana reincarnation theory/ joke by armys jungkook's popularity and reach is insane." With BTS' color being purple, one fan said, "I won't say it."
