Twitch streamer Pokimane recently revealed that she has been battling a chronic health condition that has had a significant impact on her streaming schedule. The announcement sent shockwaves through the gaming and streaming communities. 

Imane Anys aka Pokimane, known for her entertaining streams and engaging personality, took to Twitter to share the news with her millions of followers. She has over 6.5 million subscribers on YouTube and six million followers on Instagram. The chronic health issue, tinnitus, has been affecting her energy levels and overall well-being. At the same time, she assured her fans that she is seeking medical treatment and doing everything she can to manage her health.

‘My tinnitus is acting TF up’

Pokimane is a popular female Twitch broadcaster who has stepped away from being a full-time streamer to focus on various other aspects of her life, including travel, health, and wellness as well as other content videos like YouTube vlogs and TikTok. Recently, she tweeted, “Sorry, i wanted to stream today but my tinnitus is acting TF up.” After this concerning message, she continued, “Gotta go figure out why.. for anyone dealing with a chronic condition, i feel you and encourage you to take care of yourself first, no matter how much it sucks to miss out on other things.” For the unversed, tinnitus causes a ringing sound in the ears and can have adverse effects including anxiety, depression, and sleep issues.



 

She also revealed that she had this condition in her YouTube video titled 'I'm making changes', which was released on October 5, 2022.



 

'I hope it tapers down soon'

One of the Twitter users wrote, "That sucks. i know tinnitus can be very finnicky. i hope it tapers down soon." Another user said, "Had tinnitus since i was a kid. I stumbled onto a youtube video of thumping the back of your head to alleviate. It works. Used to be every night now its almost never. Best of luck to ya." Another user said, "Love the new picture." The fourth user wrote, "Still figuring out why my arm has been hurting for the past 6 years. At least im finally seeing some improvement. I hope you get it figured out asap," while yet another user stated, "Tinnitus sucks hope you get well soon."
