CANCUN, MEXICO: 'Married At First Sight' Season 17 couple Clare Kerr and Cameron Kerr have been finding it difficult to develop a physical connection. However, viewers recently slammed Clare for not taking initiative.

In the latest episode of the Lifetime show, Cameron was feeling under the weather and ended up having to go to the hospital due to pain in his ear. However, after his medical emergency, Cameron seemed to be feeling much better and surprised Clare at dinner with a bunch of flowers in an adorable moment.

Cameron said, "We have spent so much time talking about ways of showing affection. I decided to go back to basics." After Cameron gifted flowers to Clare, she thanked him with a side-hug and said, "You're the bomb."

However, viewers were quite disappointed with Clare's reaction and noted that she should have kissed him. A shocked Instagram user commented, "She’s totally friend zoned him…“you’re the bomb”…what?!?!?"

Another person added, "Oh my goodness I think that deserved a kiss… not you’re the bomb like a friend!!" Another stunned critic noted, "Oh no!!!! not the side hug."

Another viewer said, "He’s the bomb yet she gives him a “Duggar side hug” and her cheek? That’s the friend zone baby!"

Another social media user penned, "“You’re the bomb”… combined with the side hug, she should’ve just fist bumped him and called it a night."

One more person wrote, "That was cold as ice PRINCESS!" as a seventh laughed, noting, "“You’re the bomb”…… That’s what you say to your awkward coworker you still want to be kind to. Side hug is the insult on top."

Clare Kerr struggles to 'kiss or cuddle' her husband Cameron Frazer

Clare Kerr admitted to her costars Becca, Lauren and Emily that she and Cameron Frazer "aren't the most physically affectionate."

In Episode 6 of 'MAFS' Season 17, Clare candidly shared that she has "struggled with that in the past" because the men she has previously dated "haven't been willing to show me off in public or are not willing to hold my hands so I think that I'm used to that."

She elaborated, "So for me, it's not the weirdest thing, but when I see you guys, I'm like, well, it is kind of weird." Clare was honest about their intimacy struggles, telling her costars, "We have not kissed nor cuddled."

Cameron Frazer complains about Clare Kerr's 'mixed signals'

During 'Married at First Sight: Afterparty', Clare Kerr watched a clip from Season 17 of an interaction she had with her stranger husband, Cameron Frazer, at the start of their honeymoon in Mexico.

She told Cameron after the clip played, "I know we're kind of, like, comfortable with each other but not to the point where, like, we don't see each other romantically at this moment. Right?"

However, Cameron was quite hesitant about Clare's question but he later replied, "Sure." He also noted that he has been confused with Clare's wish for physical intimacy.

He said, "I have been asking if Clare would be open to more physical touch, and I've been getting a pretty strong, 'No.' And so to hear her say that she wants physical intimacy now, all I can say is I'm just confused."
