What did Kevin Costner say about 'extramarital relationship'? 'Yellowstone' star refuses to comment on estranged wife Christine Baumgartner
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kevin Costner, during a court proceeding, stated that he never engaged in an extramarital affair.
The new divorce documents reveal that the ‘Let Him Go’ actor never cheated on his estranged wife Christine as the two negotiated their divorce.
An exhibit in Christine's latest request for order includes Kevin's lawyers responding to question from his estranged wife’s side. This comprised any 'expenses paid by you, or any person at your request or on your behalf, relating to any extramarital romantic relationships."

How did Kevin Costner react initially to the question?
Costner objected to the request as his legal team responded that it is ‘propounded only for purposes of harassment, is overboard as to time period and subject matter, burdensome, oppressive and impermissibly compound.’
The actor’s side further said that the request is seeking information ‘not relevant to the subject matter’ as ‘there is no community property’ between them in this split.
Costner’s side, argued, that he “does not know for a fact if [Christine] engaged in any 'extramarital romantic relationships' before separation and, if so, whether she spent any of his money or charged any expenses in furtherance of her affair(s) on credit cards he paid."
It added, "[Kevin] has no responsive documents for 'extramarital romantic relationships' in which he engaged because he engaged in none."

Marilyn B Chinitz, a New York matrimonial and family law attorney at Blank Rome, who is not involved in this case said, "The request for 'expenses paid relating to any extramarital romantic relationships' should be stricken as irrelevant and harassing and represents nothing more than a fishing expedition."
A source said about Christine," [She’s] focused on making sure everyone is as happy and comfortable as possible. She was very calm and focused about the deposition [over the weekend]. It didn’t seem to bother her."
Did Christine already plan on divorcing Kevin Costner?
Kevin earlier suggested that Christine was planning on separating as early as April when she bought a new car.
"Months before separation, although the parties had always leased their automobiles, without [Kevin's] knowledge or consent, [Christine] bought an expensive vehicle for her personal use (probably because the [prenuptial agreement] allows her to take that vehicle with her)," his lawyers wrote at the time, as per People.
In response to the allegation, Christine said in a filing that Kevin's “request includes a myriad of false statements that are no doubt included to play to the press and 'smear' me in the media. I will not address each one."
