Trump's mug shot, released on Thursday, August 24, showed him looking at the camera with a stern expression.
When asked about it, President Biden chuckled and commented, "handsome guy, wonderful guy." However, Biden has generally refrained from discussing Trump's legal matters.
As President Biden left the workout center, a portion of the gathered crowd expressed their disapproval with boos, while a group of his supporters attempted to counter with cheers.
While Biden acknowledged the jeering crowd with a look, he did not directly address them.
Joe Biden talks about Republican opponents
Joe Biden responded to various questions, discussing topics such as his Republican opponents and the rise in Covid-19 cases.
He mentioned watching the Republican primary debate on Wednesday, August 23, commenting that it seemed to involve a lot of discussion without providing specific details.
Biden said, "I don't remember them speaking to any of the issues. There was a lot of talk. But what are they going to do to deal with economic growth?"
Further adding, "What are they going to do to deal with the notion that maintaining the job pace that we have now? What are they going to do to deal with education?" he said.
Trump, who is currently ahead in the polls for the Republican nomination to challenge Biden in the 2024 election, chose not to participate in the debate.
Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin accuses Joe Biden of corruption
During his Lake Tahoe vacation, Biden did not comment on a significant interview released on Friday, August 25, where former Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin accused both him and his son Hunter of receiving bribes and orchestrating his removal from office.
Despite being under investigation for foreign business activities, gun issues, and tax offenses, Hunter is accompanying his father on the week-long trip.
When Viktor Shokin was fired from his position in 2016, he was in the midst of investigating allegations of corruption involving the oil company Burisma Holdings.
Coincidentally, Hunter Biden was a member of the company's board during that period.
"I do not want to deal in unproven facts. But my firm personal conviction is that yes, this was the case. They were being bribed," Shokin said in the clip of the interview, as per Daily Mail.
"The fact that Joe Biden gave away $1 billion in U.S. money in exchange for my dismissal - my firing - isn't that alone a case of corruption?" he continues.
