NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Benny Safdie has finally commented on the allegations against his former producing partner and Emily Ratajkowski’s ex, Sebastian Bear-McClard. He was accused of sexual misconduct and grooming by multiple women four months ago and soon his supermodel wife filed for a divorce.
One of the women who accused him of ‘grooming’ her over Instagram when she was 18 by making ‘career promises,’ said, “Sebastian and I started kissing,” she claimed. “Things escalated and then, without asking for my consent, Sebastian inserted himself inside me without using a condom.” The woman also claimed that Bear-McClard used to call her ‘retarded,’ a ‘kike’ and even ‘tracked’ her through an app on her phone. She even caught him texting a 15-year-old girl. She said, "He allegedly ‘appeared pleased' with himself and laughed at my comment. He did not deny my accusations when confronted."

Actor-director Benny Safdie has broken his silence on his once-producing partner Sebastian Bear-McClard. “It’s disgusting, and when you find out something about somebody that you didn’t realize, you just have to be much more careful,” he said. He told GQ, “It's a lot, and it’s not something that you want to have happen to anybody. And when you find it out, the one thing that you can do is really just take control.”
Benny Safdie and his brother Josh Safdie, Sebastian Bear-McClard, along with producer Oscar Boyson, started Elara Pictures in 2014. “The Elara team were made aware of Sebastian McClard’s behavior in July 2022. They took immediate action and terminated him,” the siblings’ rep said back then.
'He’s a serial cheater'
Meanwhile, Ratajkowski decided to split with McClard ending their four-year marriage. The two share a son Sylvester, two, as they battle for his custody in the court. The duo married in February 2018, just two weeks after making their romance public, according to PageSix.
A close source to Ratajkowski said, “Yeah, he cheated. He’s a serial cheater. It’s gross. He’s a dog.” The report of alleged separation was later confirmed by the ‘iCarly’ alum, as she liked reports suggesting Bear-McClard’s infidelity. Ratajkowski came out as bisexual in a TikTok video in October 2022, “[I’m] waiting for the right one to come along,” she said when asked if she’ll be dating a woman soon.
