Popular daytime talk show host Wendy Williams and TV producer Kevin Hunter are officially divorced as per reports. According to court documents obtained by both TMZ and Page Six, the couple finalized their divorce on Tuesday, citing irreconcilable differences as the cause.

Williams and Hunter got married in 1997. They have a son together, 19-year-old Kevin Hunter Jr. After over two decades of marriage,  the 55-year-old talk show host filed for divorce in April 2019, reportedly after Hunter’s mistress, Sharina Hudson, gave birth to a baby girl.

Hunter broke his silence on the cheating scandal in a statement to People magazine after the divorce filing. “I am going through a time of self-reflection and am trying to right some wrongs,” he said. “No matter what the outcome is or what the future holds, we are still the Hunter Family and I will continue to work with and fully support my wife in this business and through any and all obstacles she may face living her new life of sobriety, while I also work on mine.”

According to Page Six, the couple has agreed to forego alimony. However, Williams agreed to keep a $1 million life insurance policy on herself that will go to Hunter in the event of her death. Reportedly, she has the right to reduce the amount on a yearly basis. Williams will also be responsible for covering Hunter’s health insurance under her current policy.

As per TMZ, their Livingston, New Jersey, house, owned by both, has been put up for sale. They will both receive an equal share of the amount. The house is currently on the market for $1.7 million, after originally being listed at $1.9 million, Page Six reported. Williams will keep their Florida home, where her mother is currently residing. Hunter, meanwhile, will keep the proceeds from the sale of their house in Morristown, New Jersey.

In the case of their production company, Wendy Williams Productions Inc., while they each own equal shares, Hunter is reportedly going to sell off his part of it to Williams, making her the sole owner. While the price has been kept confidential, TMZ reported that she would be paying him a lump sum, in addition to a severance package.

Hunter will maintain ownership of his businesses and his cars, including a Ferrari and Rolls Royce. They each have to pay their own legal fees.
