The 'Was it Love' Episode 12 promo shows the one most affected by the news of Ryu Jin being a father of a middle school girl who was born out of wedlock is Ha-nee. The news broke when she was in class, and after having fallen out with her best friend Dong-chan, she has no one to console and comfort her. So she walks out in rage. However, it is clear that a lot is going through the child's mind because in the teaser of the upcoming episode, we see Dae-o (Son Ho-jun) find her in an alley, sobbing silently. While Dae-o concentrates on ensuring that his daughter is well and good, Ryu Jin has a battle to pick with his entertainment agency's CEO Jennifer Song.

He asks her what more does she want from him and tries to get her to back off, but all of this seems in vain because she tells Ryu Jin that all the trouble that Ae-jeong (Song Ji-hyo) is going through is because of Ryu Jin himself. So it seems like Ryu Jin will conduct a press conference. However, will he take this as a chance to bring Ae-jeong and Ha-nee to his side? At the moment, the one person Ha-nee seems to hate is 'dad' and she wishes that her 'dad' would disappear and leave her alone.

Yeon-woo also decides to ask his mother for some help in dealing with Ae-jeong's news and he tells his mother that he will do anything as long as he helps her. Then there is Ae-jeong herself, who decides to resolve all the misunderstanding by herself but again, it seems the three men in her life try to become her knight in shining armor. Each of them seem to want to rescue her even if it means that they have to lie about being Ha-nee's father but Dae-o might not let any of that happen.

Now that Dae-o knows that he is the father, he is not going to let anyone else claim his title and definitely not when chances of Ha-nee getting hurt are high. This time, however, the risks are high because for the first time, Ha-nee, who has never spoken about her father to Ae-jeong before, asks her who exactly is her father is and that's when Dae-o attempts to tell the truth. But will he be able to? Especially if it seems as if he had betrayed Ha-nee by not telling her the truth all this while? We will have to see how Ae-jeong plans on removing the knots that were formed in the past.

New episodes of 'Was it Love?' will air on JTBC at 9.30 pm on Wednesdays and Thursday and will be available to stream on Netflix.
