LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: We are in the last stages of the ‘Waco’ trial and it’s time for all the major players to come and testify in this extraordinary trial. FBI and ATF say that the army of David Koresh fired first. Meanwhile, some remaining members of ‘Waco’ say that it was the ATF that fired first. The trial has begun and now that we are entering the last stages of it, we are seeing things getting intense. Dan Cogdell, the lawyer of ‘Waco 5’, is doing everything and anything to make people understand that the people he is representing have not killed anyone.

In the latest episode of 'Waco: The Aftermath', the trial begins with a couple of people who are important to the case. A couple of police officers and an arms dealer who sold guns to Paul Fatta were inside the box to testify in the case. During the entire questioning, Cogdell (Giovanni Ribisi) kept on asking about the front doors of the building that was completely annihilated. While talking to the press, Cogdell said Bill Johnston, the lawyer for the state, has some vested interest in prosecuting his clients. Cogdell and Johnston meet each other in the court’s hallway where Johnston tells him about Cogdell making baseless allegations about him.

Where's the missing door?

The lawyer of ‘Waco 5’ says that if he needs this to be a fair fight then they need to find that door. A few moments later, Johnston reveals that they have found the door and they are ready to present it. A police officer testifying says that the officers found the door 40 feet away from the building. The officer also testified that the door was made of aluminum and that the second door of the building burnt in the fire. Cogdell knew that he was lying and asked if aluminum is magnetic. To which, the officer said, “No.” But we all know that a door made up of steel is actually magnetic.

He asked one of his associates bring a fridge magnet and show how the officer was lying. He took the magnet closer to the door and it STUCK to the door, making everyone believe that this is not the original door they were talking about. He finished his questioning by sayings, “Where is the door?”

On the other hand, Kathy Schroder came to testify against her own people and said how she helped them in getting the weapons. She said that they were ready to use these weapons without even thinking twice.

Giovanni Ribisi is damn outstanding in this episode

The latest episode of ‘Waco’ was undoubtedly the best of the lot. It was intriguing, and thrilling, and gave us a glimpse into how the government was trying to hide its mistakes. The trial sequences were perfectly-structured and extraordinarily written. Giovanni Ribisi gave one of the finest performances of his career in this episode and showed the world that he is much more than just a supporting character. The scene where he confronts his clients for trying to testify will give viewers goosebumps.

The episode ended with another explosive revelation that Gary Noesner (Michael Shannon) has been called up to testify for the ATF and even though he didn’t want to, he is forced by his senior to do so. He has reached the court and now, it will be amazing to see the things he will say about the siege.
