'Virgin River' Season 5: Why these 3 charcters may not return to the show
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA : 'Virgin River' on Netflix is renowned for the theatrical exploits of its cast, but after season 5, one of the three characters might be gone forever. Martin Henderson, who plays Jack Sheridan, hinted at this possibility in a Glamour interview, which supports the theory that Virgin River may soon cut off another significant character.
'Virgin River,' which is based on Robyn Carr's romance novels, follows nurse practitioner Mel Monroe as she relocates to the community for a fresh start and begins working for Doc Mullins after the passing of her husband. Mel soon integrates into the community, becoming involved in the small town's many dramatic events, which has previously resulted in unexpected character exits in previous seasons.

1. Can Paige leave after Season 5?
Despite Paige's irregular appearances on Netflix's 'Virgin River', season 5 of the show may mark Paige's final appearance on the show. The past few seasons of Virgin River have seen Paige evade her ex-husband, who has threatened not just her safety but also the safety of Christopher and Preacher. When her ex's twin shows up, the situation only gets worse. Since her arrival in season 1, Paige has only seldom appeared in Virgin River due to threats to the safety of her and her loved ones. This makes a potential permanent exit for Virgin River season 5 a major concern. Given the legal limbo she finds herself in and the possibility that Paige's ex and his twin are both dead, she may need to leave again. Paige's possible romance with Preacher is still unanswered, but if the Virgin River television adaptation is true to the books, Paige's dark history, from which she is seeking to flee, may take precedence over any romance. Outside of her relationship with Preacher, Paige has few ties to Virgin River because Lizzie is in charge of her bakery truck. As a result, Paige's departure from Virgin River on Netflix in season 5 would be appropriate for her story in the plot.
2. Benny's departure also seems likely
Even though Denny was one of the more recently introduced characters in 'Virgin River' on Netflix, it's probable that Denny will leave the titular town in Season 5. At the conclusion of season three of the Netflix television series, Denny came to Virgin River, and it is finally made known that Denny is Doc's grandson, a fact that Doc was previously unaware of. His storyline is complicated by Denny's shocking revelation that he has Huntington's disease at the conclusion of Virgin River season 4.
One of Virgin River's largest unsolved uncertainties is how Denny's health will turn out, thus his future is uncertain. Denny could choose to stay in Virgin River with his grandfather or move away to look for other types of treatment.
3. Why Charmaine can leave 'Virgin River' In Season 5?
Charmaine has played a big role throughout the entire season of the Netflix television series Virgin River as one of the main antagonists who causes a wedge between Jack and Mel. However, at the conclusion of Virgin River season 4, Charmaine confesses to Jack and Mel that she had been lying about the twins' true parentage for the whole duration of the show, negating her claim to Jack and giving her character little to do.
