A video has been going viral on Reddit in which a man let go of the stroller with a baby in it while going after a dog. The video was posted on Reddit by a profile named Animals Being Jerk with the user name u/Mt_Bk_Rdr_B on Wednesday, August 24.

The video starts with a man carrying a baby in a stroller outside his house with a dog accompanying him. Suddenly, another dog appears from a house and is seen running towards the man and the dog. The man immediately lets go of the stroller to protect the canine.

The entire incident was captured on camera which shows the other dog running out of a house and attacking the canine. In an attempt to rescue his dog, the man jumps in to hold his pet while the stroller carrying the baby moves away.

Another man who was initially captured walking outside his house rushes in towards the man and the stroller to save the baby. The caption reads, "My dog bolted out the front door and anarchy ensued."

Since the video was shared on Reddit, it has garnered hundreds of likes and comments. Some of the users shared their own experiences, while others compared the incident with a movie in the comment section of the post.

A user wrote, "My dog is the same way.. tiny and mighty. Always picking fights with dogs twice his size and with more patience then he could ever have. I had to save him from a pitbull that he tried to eat. I've saved an old man from him. I have to wire up my fences. He's a chihuahua for God sake."

Another wrote, "I imagine this is the start of a Final Destination scene the guy let’s go of a stroller and we cut scene to a car backing down a driveway. We see a man running out of his house in flip flops but at the last min he ditches them. Back to the owner tossing the dog and it lands funny maybe breaking a leg. We pan back to see the stroller racing down the street towards the car…."

A third chimed in, "Geez give the new dad a break people. He probably hasn't had a decent nights sleep in months. Probably misjudged the hill and thought the stroller would stay put. Y'all act like you've never been in a chaotic situation and made a bad split second decision."

A fourth commented, "Perhaps he was afraid his dog would bite the little one and just reacted without thinking (that last part is definitely true). Even though I've never met a aggressive retriever .. but any dog can become anxious/antisocial if they've been through trauma, are senile, etc."
