LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM: A behind the scenes clip of King Charles III has gone viral on the internet and shows the new monarch in an emotional state asking a crew member “Am I done?” after his first national address. In his speech that aired on Friday, September 9, the 73-year-old said, “I speak to you today with feelings of profound sorrow. Throughout her life, Her Majesty The Queen - my beloved Mother - was an inspiration.”

The address was reportedly recorded in the same room where the late Queen Elizabeth II released numerous Christmas messages during her long reign of over seven decades. The teary-eyed Charles also directly addressed his late mother in his speech, which was reportedly telecasted at a service of prayer and reflection at St Paul's Cathedral, by saying, “To my darling Mama, as you begin your last great journey to join my dear late Papa, I want simply to say this: thank you. Thank you for your love and devotion to our family and to the family of nations you have served so diligently all these years. May 'flights of Angels sing thee to thy rest'.”

However, now new footage has shown the time before and after Charles spoke. He was seen sitting at a chair in Buckingham Palace's Blue Drawing Room while wearing a black suit, black tie, and a black and white checked handkerchief in his pocket. The desk in front of him included a framed image of the late Her Majesty.

Following the address, the father-of-two can be seen asking the people recording the speech, “Am I done?” as he rose from his chair, which has attracted a lot of heartwarming comments from the people online.

A user tweeted, “Not only has he just lost his dear mother he also now has the enormous responsibility of being King at an age when most people have retired, or may do a voluntary job or part time for interest. His entire life will step up a gear and change. Heavy the head that wears the crown.”

The second user wrote, “I don't understand why this needed to be done so quickly! Let him, his siblings, the family grieve! There are zero expectations within 24hrs & beyond of losing a parent!! Regardless of status!  May her majesty rest in peace. #GodSaveTheKing Xx.” The third one said, “brilliant speech ..he came across genuine .kind and warm..nothing fake ..The new  King  pledged his life to his people..however long God gives him..and otherwise just a grieving son who dearly adored his mama  💖🌹.”

A person expressed, “Don’t care what people feel about the monarch, I am not a royalist, but that is a man who has just lost his mother and you can see the pain in his eyes, feel for him.” Another one added, “Having to do all this while grieving for his Mum must be exhausting and extremely hard. The feeling I remember so well, when my Mum died was it was so difficult to find personal space to come to terms with the loss. It was like a circus with people around all the time.”
