Trump 'hits' child on head with baseball in video during World Series game in Atlanta
ATLANTA, GEORGIA: A video of Donald Trump is doing rounds on the internet that showed him accidentally hitting a child on the head with a baseball after fans demanded his autographs during the World Series game in Atlanta last week. The just under a minute-and-half clip, which has reportedly garnered over 80,000 likes, was shared on TikTok by user @loupastore27.
The user captioned the video as “I got Mr. Trump's autographs at the World Series.” As per reports, when fans initially asked the former President -- who was sitting next to his wife Melania Trump while watching the Atlanta Braves beat the Houston Astros 7-0 -- for his autograph, he first resisted but then agreed.

Here's Donald Trump, who totally could've gone pro at baseball like he said, nailing a kid in the head with a ball after signing it at the World Series. 💀😭 (📹: loupastore27/TikTok) pic.twitter.com/Glaxt6RTez

The TikTok video that has also surfaced on Twitter showed the kid wearing an Astros jersey sitting beneath Trump's booth. He was seen trying to get the attention of the Republican leader by waving a baseball and a pen in his direction. A person can also be heard telling Trump, “Come on, one [autograph], please,” before he leaned towards the railing in his open-air suite to take the ball.
Trump then spoke briefly to the former first lady and asked his team for a pen. He then signed the ball as someone said, “Thank you.” The 75-year-old politician then threw the ball towards the fans, but it hit the head of another kid, who somehow managed to not lose his cap. No one seemed much bothered by Trump’s carelessness as they tried to find the baseball.
But a Twitter user wrote, “Here's Donald Trump, who totally could've gone pro at baseball like he said, nailing a kid in the head with a ball after signing it at the World Series. A person tweeted, “Don’t blame this one on Trump, kid made no attempt to try and catch the ball.” The second one said, “Seemed like a good throw.. kid wasn't paying attention for whatever reason, the President signaled that he was gonna throw him the ball several times.” “I hope the kids family SUE'S Trump the kid could have serious injury not readily noticed,” a user jokingly wrote.

The latest clip comes soon after another video from the same game showed Trump chuckling at “Let's Go Brandon” chant. During the last Saturday night, October 30, game he also participated in “Tomahawk Chop” with Braves fans and when the crowd began chanting, “Let's go Brandon”, he was seen laughing.
On Saturday before attending the World Series, Trump released a statement in a mass email to his supporters. It read, “Looking forward to being at the World Series in Atlanta tonight. Thank you to the Commissioner of Baseball Rob Manfred, and Randy Levine of the great New York Yankees, for the invite. Melania and I are looking forward to a wonderful evening watching two great teams!” But Major League Baseball said it did not invite the ex-leader. It added that he “requested to attend the game”.
