Answers to Orsolya Gaal's murder mystery are in CHILLING video, says ex-NYPD chief
As the case of Orsolya Gaal’s murder is getting complicated, a former NYPD officer has claimed that the chilling video that shows the killer walking with the victim’s body inside a duffel bag will help to identify him. The 51-year-old mother of two was found dead on Saturday morning, April 16, in Forest Park in the borough of Queens, New York City. The attacker reportedly stabbed her almost 60 times in her home before dragging her body out inside a black Bauer hockey bag.
Reports said that the horrific attack fatally injured Gaal’s neck, torso, and left arm. Authorities also found defensive injuries on her hands and the insides of her fingers, and believe she tried hard to fight the murderer before breathing her last. It has also been said that since investigators found no signs of forced entry inside the woman’s $2 million house, chances are she knew her attacker.

A surveillance camera footage reportedly showed the killer walking with the bag at around 4:30 in the morning. Though the clip did not show the suspect’s face, Robert Boyce, a thirty-five-year veteran of the NYPD, told The US Sun that it may help investigators identify him. He said, “One thing investigators will be able to do from the video is identify whether the killer has an abnormal or unique gait. If they have a limp or anything like that, then they may be easily identifiable to police ... these distinctive features become more clear each time you watch it.”
Boyce then gave an example of an old case by stating: “There was footage of the shooter walking away ... You couldn't see his face but he had a distinctive limp. We put the clip out and received a call from a woman who said, 'that's my husband' ... turned out it was her husband. He'd severed a toe in a construction accident a few years earlier.”

Referring to the footage in this case, the former officer said the attacker is taking "long strides" and "seems panicked." He noted: “That's over 100 pounds he's pulling behind him, yet he does it so quickly. He [also] seems to be carrying a bag in front of him.” Boyce also pointed out: “There are two particularly unusual things in this case, and the first is that they removed the body from the home. That to me suggests they panicked because that's a very risky thing to do.”
The ex-chief said that it "doesn't make sense" to him that the attacker decided to walk with the dead body in a bag, "particularly when it's leaking huge amounts of blood." He shared: “Also, at that time of night, who is up? Pulling that bag behind you you're running a high risk of being stopped by police. I'd have stopped them, that's for sure,” before commenting: “The second unusual thing about this case is this murder happened in an affluent, low crime area. With affluent areas, surveillance cameras are common meaning you're more likely to be spotted.”
Currently, three people have been identified as persons of interest in the case. Boyce said, “[Gaal] was very active on social media. Investigators will be taking those numbers, connecting them to Facebook profiles, and triangulating them to the home to see if they were there when she was killed.” He also added: “The case will have to be rock-solid as the District Attorney will want a smoking gun. And they'll likely need to have a motive figured out too. But perpetrators always make mistakes, and, as I always say, it's the police's responsibility to turn these mistakes into evidence.”
