Victoria Beckham reveals daughter Harper and son Cruz have been baptized, shares adorable pictures: 'I couldn't be more proud'
Victoria Beckham and David Beckham had a star-studded christening for their kids, 14-year-old Cruz and eight-year-old Harper, at the Cotswold church.
The 45-year-old took to Instagram recently and uploaded two pictures from her kid's christening sharing how proud she is of them. She shared a picture of her, David, their kids, alongside family friends and godparents Eva Longoria, Marc Anthony, sports agent David Gardner, and hairdresser Ken Paves.
Victoria captioned the picture, "I couldn’t be more proud of my children and thankful to my family, and the most wonderful Godparents. We love you @evalongoria @kenpaves @marcanthony @davidgardner x kisses."
Prior to the christening, Victoria shared a picture of her two kids, captioning it, "Proudest of days today watching Harper and Cruz being baptized in front of our friends and family. So much to be grateful for x With love, VB x I love u @davidbeckham."
The christening ceremony was followed by a star-studded bash at their Cotswold mansion where their kids Harper and Cruz were joined by Elton John who is Brooklyn Beckham's godfather.
According to Sun, a source close to the family reportedly shared, "They have asked party-goers to dress in full-length and fabulous. They really enjoy family events like this and are very proud parents. They think Christmas is the perfect time for a christening party. Drinks will be flowing, chefs will serve amazing food and there will be spectacular fireworks."
The pictures of Harper and Cruz's christening comes after it was revealed that Victoria had reportedly banned David's dad's stepdaughter, 27-year-old Charlotte from attending the occasion. Ted and his partner Hilary Meredith have both been invited to the party, but her daughter Charlotte is reported to have been blocked.
A source told Sun, "Charlotte believes they are a family and should be invited as a unit. In the end, Ted asked David if they could bring her. He said he’d speak to Victoria. But he came back and said sorry they couldn’t fit one more in. The bottom line is Victoria’s mistrust of any outsiders being brought into the fold. All the staff working at the party have also had to sign non-disclosure agreements.”
