Vanessa Bryant shares heartwarming photo with Kobe Bryant on their 22nd wedding anniversary
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Vanessa Bryant has wished her late husband Kobe Bryant on the occasion of their wedding anniversary in a most special way. The 40-year-old philanthropist took to her Instagram page and shared a very beautiful picture of her with the NBA star.
Vanessa captioned the photo, “Happy anniversary baby. I love you @kobebryant ❤️#22,” attracting thousands of likes and comments. Ciara commented, “Happy Anniversary! Love you V Boo ❤️❤️.” Singer Monica Denise wrote, “Happy Anniversary @vanessabryant We all Love You Deep.”

‘This photo put a huge smile on my face’
A fan of theirs said, “Happy anniversary V ❤️ sending you and the girls so much love!” Another one stated, “This photo makes me smile.🥹 So beautiful and full of love! As per reports, Vanessa and Kobe first met on the set of a music video in 1999, when the basketball player was 20 and the businesswoman was 17. Later, they exchanged vows in 2001 at St Edward the Confessor Catholic Church in Dana Point, California, on April 18.
Together, the couple became parents to four daughters, Natalia Diamante Bryant, Gianna Maria-Onore Bryant, Bianka Bella Bryant, and Capri Kobe Bryant. However, in the January 2020 plane crash, Gianna also lost her life along with her father. Others on board the flight who died alongside the father-daughter pair were pilot Ara Zobayan, 50; Keri Altobelli, 46; John Altobelli, 56; Payton Chester, 13; Sarah Chester, 46; Alyssa Altobelli, 14; and Christina Mauser, 38.

Meanwhile, the anniversary post came over a month after the Bryant family paid a beautiful tribute to Kobe during the unveiling of his handprints at the Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. As per PEOPLE, at the event, Natalia delivered a heartwarming speech, saying, “I'm honored to be here today to recognize the man that we all knew and love my dad, Kobe Bryant. Being his daughter is one of the greatest joys of my life, and I hope to continue to embody and cherish the many lessons he has taught me.”
She continued, “This day symbolizes the impact that he has had on a city that he loved and cared for so deeply. I encourage you to place your hands in his and take a moment to stand in his shoes. This will be a treasure for the city of Los Angeles and my dad's fans from all over the world to hold and cherish.”
The 20-year-old then concluded, “Dad, you're an icon, a legend, the storyteller, and most importantly, the best girl dad any young woman could ever dream of. I'm honored to be here to represent you and our family, and we are extremely proud of you. We will love you forever and always. Love, Natalia, Gianna, Bianka, Capri, and Mommy.”
