Vanessa Bryant remembers 'best friend' and 'best daddy' Kobe in heartbreaking post: 'Miss you so much'

Vanessa Bryant who is grieving the loss of her husband Kobe Bryant and 13-year-old daughter Gianna posted an emotional note on Instagram. The basketball superstar's wife remembered her husband by sharing a photograph of him on February 5. 

Along with the picture, Vanessa wrote, "#MyBestFriend #theBestDaddy Miss you so much. #handsome #sweet #funny #silly #lovinghusband Miss you saying, 'Bourjourno principessa/reina' (Good morning princess, queen)"

She also shared a video where Kobe is seen answering interview questions on varying topics including his favorite junk food. The compilation also includes this question about his best friend and he answers, "my wife".

Vanessa has been sharing emotional notes about Kobe and Gianna as well. On February 3, she shared a painting of Gianna who is seen holding a basketball and wrote, "Seeing my babygirl smile and happy again with a basketball under her arm, wrapped in love just warmed my heart. Thank you for this. @_vivalareina thank you!! My Gigi. #Mambacita."

Before this, she had also shared a picture of jerseys with No 2 and No 24 on them and wrote, "There is no #24 without #2. #GirlDaddy #DaddysGirl #MyBabies #OurAngels #KobeandGigi."

Vanessa lost her husband and her daughter in the helicopter crash which also killed seven others. The remains of Kobe and the others who were killed in the crash were released to their families on February 4. According to a report on CNN, the website for the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner was quoted as the source of the information. 

The others who lost their lives in the crash were 13-year-old Payton Chester, 45-year-old Sarah Chester, 14-year-old Alyssa Altobelli, 46-year-old Keri Altobelli, 56-year-old John Altobelli, 38-year-old Christina Mauser and the helicopter's pilot, Ara Zobayan, 50.

The coroner's office identified all victims the last week and the cause of death was determined as blunt force trauma.
