Vanessa Bryant gets tattoos of Kobe and Gianna’s ‘sweet messages’, internet tears up at her touching tribute
Vanessa Bryant, remembering her late husband and NBA legend Kobe Bryant and late daughter Gianna, who lost their lives in a helicopter crash on Jan 26, 2020, decided to get their “sweet messages” tattooed on her body.
She took to her private Instagram handle a while ago to share a video on Insta story that shows her getting inked in a tattoo studio. Thanking the artist for helping her pay tribute her husband and daughter most beautifully, Vanessa wrote, "Shoutout to “@nikkohurtado for coming over and helping me get my Gigi's sweet message transferred on me #throwbacktoFebruary”
She even shared a video displaying her wrist with the new tattoo captioned “My Gigi” followed by a heart emoticon placed next to it. The clip showed Vanessa getting another tattoo on her neck, which reads Kobe’s message. She wrote, "I wanted my boo boo's @kobebryant sweet message transferred on me. @nikkohurtado came through for me. Thank you! #inked”
On seeing Vanessa’s new tattoos, fans have showered her with prayers and love on Twitter. While one tweet read, “I know for a fact that Vanessa Bryant is only keeping it together because of the millions of prayers going up for her and the fam.”
“Vanessa Bryant looks so sad man I’m on the verge of tears right now. I hurt so much for her. I’ll always keep her and her girls in my prayers. Those tattoos she got are very touching. Kobe and Gigi would love them. Keep your head up Mrs. Bryant we got you,” added another.
Many of the followers have praised Vanessa for displaying immense courage and remaining strong despite the devastating loss she experienced recently. “Vanessa Bryant will forever be one of the strongest women in this world. With the lost of part of her family, and what’s going on in this world, you will always see a smile on her face", said another.
Vanessa has been using her social media platform to honor her late husband and daughter by sharing heartwarming posts. Recently she dedicated a post on Instagram to Gianna, wishing her on what would have been the day of her graduation had she not lost her life in the tragic accident.
Vanessa wrote remembering her loving daughter, “Congratulations on your 8th grade graduation Gigi. I love you forever and always. I'm so proud of you. ❤️, Mommy #classof2020."
