Vanessa Bryant lost her husband Kobe Bryant and daughter Gianna in January earlier this year after a horrific helicopter crash claimed their lives. The 41-year-old Kobe and 13-year-old Gianna are survived by Vanessa and her daughters, 17-year-old Natalia Diamante Bryant, three-year-old Bianka Bella Bryant and 11-month-old Capri Kobe Bryant. Vanessa and Natalia recently spoke out about how they are taking time now to heal and move forward.

Vanessa took to her Instagram story to tell followers that she and Natalia have made some adjustments to who they follow on social media. The 38-year-old Vanessa explained that she and Natalia had to resort to blocking some of Kobe and Gianna's fan accounts since images of them take over her and Natalia's feeds which make it hard to cope with.

She wrote, "Thx so much for all the [love]. @nataliabryant and I have unfortunately had to block fan pages because it’s been really hard to go online and constantly see pics of our beloved Gigi and Kobe under every single square of our explore pages."

"Blocking the fan pages has helped change the algorithm. We [love] you all but please understand that we had to do this for our own healing not because we don’t appreciate your [love]," she said along with heart emojis. She had also posted a screenshot of a similar statement that Natalia had written who said that fan accounts "reposting our pics makes it 10x harder to deal with our loss." Natalia had also said she "hope[s] that people understand" the decision which is enabling her and her mother to "move forward".

The 17-year-old's Instagram handle has also been made private that allows her to block the upsetting images. Vanessa had recently shared a clip with some heartbroken emojis. She wrote, "11 years ago today, Hard to watch without it crushing my soul but so thankful we have these videos to look back on when we feel the time is right."

We had previously reported that Vanessa had said that Kobe's death cost their family "hundreds of millions of dollars".  Vanessa had earlier submitted a wrongful death lawsuit against Island Express Helicopters in February, a little less than a month after Kobe and her daughter Gianna died in the fatal helicopter crash.

"Although the total specific amount of personal injury damages that the Plaintiff seeks is TBD, Kobe Bryant's future lost earnings equals hundreds of millions of dollars," the court documents read. Court documents also show that Vanessa "seeks economic damages, non-economic damages, prejudgment interest, punitive damages, and other relief as the Court deems just and proper."

The lawsuit also stated that Island Express, agents and employees, including pilot Ara George Zobayan had a "duty to use that degree of care that an ordinarily careful and prudent pilot would use under the same or similar circumstances," according to an E! News report. Kobe, Gianna, and seven others were flying to a basketball game on January 26, when the chopper crashed in Calabasas in California. Among the victims were Kobe, Gianna, college baseball coach John Altobelli, his wife Keri and their daughter Alyssa (a friend of Gianna), Sarah and Payton Chester, and one of the coaches at Kobe's youth academy, Christina Mauser, who was married to Tijuana Dogs singer Matt Mauser.
