Tristan Thompson makes his return to basketball and gets booed after allegations he cheated on pregnant Khloe Kardashian
Tristan Thompson returned to work just a day after allegations that he cheated on his pregnant girlfriend Khloe Kardashian were made public. And to say that it did not go well for him would definitely be an understatement.
The Cleveland Cavaliers' power forward was booed mercilessly in the stadium during Wednesday's home game at The Quicken Loans Arena against the New York Knicks. A lot of people in the audience even brought signs to the game in support of the pregnant Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, who is due to give birth to a baby girl any day now.
Although we have no proof as to how the constant booing affected his game, Cleveland was losing 57-37 at halftime even after Tristan played for much of the second quarter. The Cavaliers won their last game of the season 110 – 98 over the Knicks and are now eyeing a win at the first round of the Eastern Conference against the Indiana Pacers.
As for Khloe, the reality TV star has been in Cleveland for the past few weeks, eagerly awaiting the birth of her first child, a baby girl, with her doctors and mother Kris Jenner already by her side in Ohio. And with respect to Tristan's cheating allegations, multiple sources have come forward to share how the family is dealing with these allegations.
"She's distraught. Her entire world has been turned upside down," an insider shared with E! News. "She cried hysterically all night. She begged to come back to L.A. and tried to find any way to make it work but her doctor wouldn't let her. She just wants to be with her family and leave as soon as possible."
But even though the first-time pregnant Khloe is due any day, her friends and family are fully supporting her and focusing on a smooth delivery now, away from all the scandal unraveling because of the baby daddy.
"Everyone is in crisis mode and is trying to be very calm for Khloe," another source added. "They are all really worried, and all of the sisters are dropping everything to be with her. They all keep reassuring her that everything will be OK and to stay calm for the baby."
