In his problematic statements, he labeled these young lives lost as "Hamas leaders" to draw attention to his tweet.

Tate's comments in the previous few days have primarily revolved around the Israel-Hamas conflict, where he consistently criticizes Israel while expressing support for the Palestinians, particularly highlighting the impact of the war on children.

In a recent tweet, he made a controversial comparison between children and Hamas leaders, stating, "All these "Hamas leaders" that they seem to be taking out are 3-5 year old kids. The videos of their corpses are all over the internet."

Tate went on to assert, "Who knew that Hamas was run by children? You learn something new everyday. 💔"

Previously, Tate had pledged financial assistance for Palestinian children and drew comparisons between them and Israeli children.

He believes that Israeli children would be able to return to their normal lives after the war, but he held a contrasting view of Palestinian children, suggesting that their conditions would not significantly improve in the aftermath of the conflict.
