Tristan Tate claims 'overweight isn't attractive' as he clarifies remark about women's body type, Internet dubs him 'shallow'

BUCHAREST, ROMANIA: Tristan Tate, the polarizing social media influencer, has recently used platform X (formerly Twitter) to backtrack on his previous remarks concerning women's physical appearances.
Tate's viewpoints have sparked considerable controversy and have been criticized by numerous online community members for being "shallow."
Nevertheless, Tristan Tate's recent tweet on the subject of women's physique has left many social media users furious as he previously claimed, "Women can be attractive with thin lips, teeth that aren’t perfectly straight, and wide noses."

Tristan Tate backtracks on previous remark, calls out people who are overweight
On October 31, Tate posted a tweet on X in which he asserted that women with thin lips, not-so-perfect teeth, and wide noses can still be attractive.
He also emphasized that women do not require surgical procedures, as they are fine with their natural features.

However, just days later, on November 2, Tate shared the same tweet and added, "This post has been championed as “body positive” but it isn’t."
He went on to say, "So to burn the bridges I’ve made with that movement I will state that if you are overweight, you should lose weight and get back down to a healthy weight."
In conclusion, he stated, "Being overweight isn’t attractive. Ever."
