Armistice Day, or Remembrance Day, is observed annually on November 11 to honor the end of World War I with the Armistice Agreement signed between the Allies and Germany in 1918. It is a solemn day to pay tribute to those who sacrificed their lives in the war, marked by ceremonies, silence, and the symbolic red poppy.
