Travis Kelce is 'smart' and is focused on 'right things,' says Chiefs president amid Taylor Swift dating rumors
BERGEN, NEW JERSEY: Travis Kelce is not letting the media attention around his rumored romance with Taylor Swift distract him from his game, according to the Kansas City Chiefs President Mark Donovan.
Donovan praised Kelce as a “smart team player” who stays focused on the “right things” and does it the “right way” in an interview with People.

“He can handle it and has been very professional” Donovan said on Travis Kelce’s rumored romance with Taylor Swift.
"Our locker room has the maturity, leadership and respect to handle it,” Donovan said at MetLife Stadium before the Chiefs faced the New York Jets on Sunday.
Kelce, 33, and Swift, 32, have been rumored to be dating since they were spotted together at a Los Angeles restaurant in August.
Swift has since attended two of Kelce’s games at Arrowhead Stadium, drawing huge attention from fans and media.
Mark Donovan says having Taylor Swift at the game has been fun
As reported by the publication, Donovan said that having Taylor Swift at the games has been “fun and good for everybody involved."
Swift's presence and her rumored romance with Travis has even boosted the viewership of the NFL.
Fox Sports reported that the game on September 24, when Swift made her first appearance, was the week’s highest-rated telecast on any network with 24.3 million viewers.
The game also attracted more female viewers, aged between 12 to 49, than any other game that week, as per the network.

Donovan said that he sees it as a “real benefit” to have more young, female fans tuning into the NFL and supporting the Chiefs.
He added that he hopes Swift will continue to attend more games in the future. “She’s always welcome here,” he said.
During a team press conference on Friday, October 6, Kelce said he is learning how to deal with paparazzi. "You've got a lot of people that care about Taylor, and for a good reason," he said.
Admitting Swift's level of fame, he said "it comes with it."
