Travis Kelce gives befitting reply to 'Shark Tank' star Mark Cuban's Taylor Swift breakup suggestion
DALLAS, TEXAS: Recently, 'Shark Tank' investor Mark Cuban jokingly urged Taylor Swift to break up with Travis Kelce. However, the NFL star has a smart reply to Cuban's comment.
Cuban appeared on September 28, Thursday's episode of ESPN's 'First Take' and had a message for Swift.
He said, "Taylor, sorry if you’re listening Travis, break up with him."
The owner of the Dallas Mavericks basketball team added, "I got a bunch of good-looking single guys that play for the Dallas Mavericks. I got you."
Meanwhile, Cuban told TMZ Sports, "Taylor Swift impacts the economy."
The Shark Tank star added to the outlet, "She adds value everywhere she goes." Cuban also said, "Literally every city she brings her tours to, you can see the economy get a bump out of it. The NFL's gotta be loving this."
However, Kelce took to X to give a befitting reply to Cuban's remark. Kelce wrote, "@mcuban Just sign me to a ten day [contract]!"
For the unversed, in the NBA, a ten-day contract is considered a temporary deal designed to help a team for a short period of time.
Travis Kelce tries to give his contact number to Taylor Swift
On his 'New Heights' podcast with his brother Jason, Travis Kelce revealed that he tried to slide his contact number to Taylor Swift during her Eras Tour show in Kansas City, Missouri.
He shared, "I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings."
Kelce explained, "So I was a little b***hurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her."
The NFL player added, "If you’re up on Taylor Swift concerts, there are friendship bracelets and I received a bunch of them being there, but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it. All right now."
However, when Jason asked if his brother meant his jersey number or phone number, Kelce didn't answer directly but noted, "You know which one."

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's budding romance has been a hot topic especially after the singer showed up to a Kansas City Chiefs game over the weekend.
On Sunday, September 24, Taylor watched the tight end and his team take on the Chicago Bears at Arrowhead Stadium.
Notably, the stadium served as the same venue where Kelce watched Swift take the stage for her Eras Tour and failed to give her his phone number. Taylor was spotted on screen in a stadium box alongside Travis' mother, Donna Kelce.

Just hours before making her appearance at Sunday's Chiefs game, Taylor Swift was spotted with Travis Kelce's friends and family at his Kansas City home.
Taylor was sported walking on the sidewalk near Travis' mansion with the Kelce crew, Daily Mail reported.
The outlet also reported that Taylor spent about an hour inside Kelce's house getting to know his close ones before heading to the game.
A source shared with the outlet, "Travis wasn't at his house, but it was filled with his friends and family."
The source further added, "He has a personal chef and several friends from high school and college who use his place as a crash pad whenever they are in town."
