Trashelle Odom: Married Trump donor claims Corey Lewandowski groped and stalked her
Trashelle Odom, a Donald Trump super PAC donor, has come forward to accuse the former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski of unwanted sexual advances during a recent event at the Westgate Las Vegas hotel for the Victoria's Voice Foundation. Trashelle claimed that Lewandowski sat next to her at the event, constantly stalked her and even touched her leg and buttocks.
A report in the Daily Mail states Trashelle, who is married to an executive of a construction company gave her statement to the cops revealing that the political commentator repeatedly spoke about the size of his genitals which made her feel violated and fearful. In the statement, the Idaho-based donor added that he also 'described his sexual performance and showed her his hotel room key.' On the other hand, Lewandowski's attorney, David Chesnoff declined to comment on the statement, saying that he has yet to see it. Lewandowski, who was in Donald Trump’s team earlier, was removed from the former president's orbit earlier after he was kicked out as his campaign manager in 2016. However, he returned to office in 2017 after Trump offered him a job with his administration which he rejected. He was later appointed to a Pentagon advisory board.

What did Trashelle Odom say in her statement?
Trashelle in her three-page statement, as shared by Politico asserted that Lewandowski repeatedly approached her. In her statement to the cops, she said, “Those statements, coupled with his demeanor and aggressive behaviors,' made her 'intimidated and frightened and fearful for my safety and that of my family members.” She added, “It was as if he thought he had a sense of ownership over me, from the start.”
Trashelle, who has been married since 2005, had given a similar statement last week after she went public with her allegations. “I am coming forward because he needs to be held accountable. I am blessed to have a loving husband and family behind me. I want other women to know that you can be heard, too, and together we can stop terrible things like this from happening.' She added, “I went into my room crying and trembling as I did not know if I had just ruined everything that my family had worked so hard to grow.”
How did Corey Lewandowski react to allegations?
Lewandowski has not commented on the latest trouble he is facing but his attorney David Chesnoff spoke on the statement given by Trashelle. “It's premature to respond to something that hasn't been filed up until now and that we haven't seen and we will respond if appropriate.”
Trashelle's husband, John Odom too came forward with a statement after the Trump team said that they were cutting ties with Lewandowski. “We believe in law enforcement, and are hopeful that the police and prosecutors will use this information to pursue justice. For all others with information regarding this man's violent, harassing, and traumatizing behavior, we encourage you to speak up. Accountability is sorely needed.”
Lewandowski most recently made headlines after the news of him having an affair with South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem went public. It was reported that the two apparently were together for the last few months something which Noem labeled as “total garbage and a disgusting lie.” The governor, 49, has been married since the age of 20 to Bryon Noem, with whom she has three kids. In a tweet shared on September 29, she said, “These rumors are total garbage and a disgusting lie. These old, tired attacks on conservative women are based on a falsehood that we can't achieve anything without a man's help. I love Bryon. I'm proud of the God-fearing family we've raised together. Now I'm getting back to work.”
