Famous transgender juggler Phia Menard and the performer's fans and followers have expressed their anger over the last-minute cancellation of Menard’s show, due to Kanye West's Sunday service event.

The show was supposed to take place at the Bouffes du Nord theatre in Paris in order to make space for one of West's famous 'Sunday service' religious themed events. Menard was fuming that the 'Maison Mere' (Mother Ship) show was pulled with just a day's notice. However, the artiste was given 'technical reasons' as the explanation behind the cancellation.

As a result, Menard and her fans have lashed out at the theatre and at West. She also accused the theatre of lying "so they could cash in on a religious ceremony and the money the Donald Trump-supporting rapper" could pay them. "I am an artist, a trans woman, the director of a company, and I refuse to accept this denial and contempt," Menard shared on Facebook.

The Bouffes du Nord spoke to the AFP and shared that it had canceled Menard's show because of the "technical incompatibility of the two events." The theatre's management also shared saying, "The 98 people who had bought tickets were contacted and most came to her show the night before while the rest were reimbursed."

Meanwhile, West has been in Paris to display his latest collection for his 'Yeezy' label. West was accompanied by his wife, Kim Kardashian, and eldest daughter North West at the Sunday service. His sister-in-law Kourtney Kardashian was also there along with daughter Penelope Disick. Kim was seen at the religious-themed event "in an almost sprayed-on latex brown suit, one of three figure-hugging Balmain looks she wore during the course of the day."

Over the last few years, West has been seen to undergo a major transformation both politically and religiously. His recent album 'Jesus Is King' hit no. 1 on the Billboard charts and broke his previous online streaming records, The Christian Post shared. "The 27-minute music release garnered the second-largest sales week of the year for an R&B/Hip-Hop album, with over 100,000 copies sold."
