Tory Lanez to address Megan Thee Stallion shooting incident, fans say ‘Unless it’s an apology, we don't care’
Looks like Tory Lanez has finally mustered the courage to address his shooting incident with the female rapper Megan Thee Stallion back in July. The Canadian rapper logged into this Twitter account to make the big announcement where he apologized for his silence and then revealed that he has got some time today to speak on the matter.
His tweet read, “To my fans ... I’m sorry for my silence .... but respectfully .. I got time today ...... 9 PM PST.”

The ‘Say It’ hit-maker had completely isolated himself from all his social media accounts and as we noted, he shared his last post back in July. Whereas, Megan Thee Stallion, who got injured in the shooting incident, has addressed the issue several times on social media. It is also being rumored that the hip-hop artist decided to deal with his grief after the Atlanta rapper TI spoke to him on the matter.
According to Complex, in one of his earlier Instagram Live sessions, TI had revealed, “I spoke to Tory Lanez and he said the shit didn’t happen like that. I said, ‘Well, you need to be saying something, bruh. How did it happen?’ And he said he couldn’t say nothing about how it did actually happen.” TI had also expressed his concern towards the safety of Black women. He added, “Megan should know that everyone has her back because Black Women are the “the most attacked, least protected and least defended. We can’t allow nobody, myself included, to be out here goddamn letting off shots at women in bikinis. Now, I just have a problem with that.”
Now, the moment Tory shared his tweet, Internet wrote back to him on him breaking his self-imposed social media exile One fan said, “Tory this need to be good bro. I been a fan of yours for 10 years. I gotta know why you did what you did.” One user tweeted, “You’ve been my favorite artist since I was in high school. I looked up to you and modeled a LOT of my shit around you because we’re around the same age. I had SO much respect for you and I can’t understand why you would throw your skyrocketing popularity away for nothing.”

One user slammed the rapper and stated, “Unless it’s an APOLOGY to MEGAN PETE AKA MEGAN THEE STALLION, WE DONT CARE” Another user added, “I dead don’t care to hear @torylanez side of the story, but ima tune into the bullshit.” One social media user asserted, “Now you decided to SPEAK bro in this situation you should of never let it ride out you’ve should of BEEN spoke up df”

Looking at the tweets, it seems Tory might have to handle the situation very carefully. Now, even though the rapper revealed the timings in his tweet, he never really mentioned it on which social media platform he will go live on. But, looking at the history of his live sessions, it won’t be wrong to assume that it is going to be his official Instagram account.
We will keep you posted on the same. Watch this space for more.
