Tory Lanez has spoken out after he was mocked for having a "bald spot" as he stands trial for allegedly shooting Megan Thee Stallion.

The 29-year-old rapper was seen leaving a Los Angeles Courthouse on Wednesday, April 6, when fans noticed his thinning hair. Tory was in court for his dispute with Megan and posted bail the same day. Fans inundated social media with comments about the controversial star after a clip of his bald spot started making the rounds. Tory took to Twitter hours after the mockery ensued to slam his critics.

“I’m fully aware of the bald spot in the back of my head guys," Tory tweeted on Wednesday after leaving the court. "I rap about it all the time …it’s alopecia…. What’s the big deal," he added. His followers were confused whether Tory actually had alopecia or was simply poking fun at the recent Oscars controversy that saw actor Will Smith slap comedian Chris Rock for joking about his wife Jada Pinkett Smith's shaved head. She is allegedly battling alopecia herself.

Tory was arrested earlier this week over his tweets about 27-year-old Megan. He was taken into custody after being accused of shooting the 'Savage' hitmaker in the feet following an argument in July 2020. Judge David V. Herriford, after hearing nearly an hour of arguments about Tory's social media activity, concluded that some of his tweets “seem to be clear messages” directed at Megan. Furthermore, the judge increased the rapper's bail to $350,000 after learning he had violated both the discovery and criminal protective orders. The ruling came after prosecutors had requested Tory to be held without bail or at least set the amount at $ 5million. However, Judge Herriford added new conditions to the rapper's release, requiring him "not to mention the complaining witness in this case in any social media."

In October 2020, Tory was charged with one felony count each of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, personal use of a firearm, and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle. However, he pleaded not guilty to both charges in November 2020. In December 2021, LAPD Det. Ryan Stogner testified that Tory shouted "Dance, bitch!" in a vehicle before shooting Megan in the foot. "[Megan] observed Mr. Peterson holding a firearm and then she observed him start to shoot," Stogner testified at the time. "Megan immediately felt pain to her feet, observed blood, fell to the ground, and then crawled to an adjacent driveway of a residence…She described her injuries as bleeding profusely." Stogner also noted how Tory apologized for shooting Megan and "offered her money and begged her to please not say anything," per Megan's account. She also told the detective that Tory made "a reference to the fact he was already on probation."

In January last year, however, Megan named Tory as an "abuser" in a series of tweets about the alleged incident. "Y'all can't tell when s— fake news?" she tweeted. "Y'all still don't see an ABUSER picking with me? The first court date got pushed back bc of the inauguration but I can't wait until the MF FACTS come out!" She added, "Bi*** you shot me AND MY STORY NOT CHANGING AND BITCH YOU GOING TO JAIL."

Megan also named Tory as the person who she claims shot her. "You shot me, and you got your publicist and your people going to these blogs lying and s—. Stop lying," she said, according to a screenshot captured by a fan on Twitter. "Why lie? I don't understand. I tried to keep the situation off the internet, but you're dragging it." After Tory was arrested, Megan took to Instagram and claimed she "suffered gunshot wounds, as a result of a crime that was committed against me and done with the intention to physically harm me." Tory Lanez is slated to return to court for a trial on September 14, People reported.
