Is Tom Morello OK?
Rage Against the Machine was playing their final song ‘Killing in the Name’ for Toronto’s audience when a fan donning a red shirt sprinted toward the front of the stage but soon got blocked by security. Amid the situation, the security ended up running into Tom Morello, who was playing guitar right there on the stage. As per the videos surfaced, the 58-year-old Morello was seen falling off the stage.
The band’s frontman Zack de la Rocha, who was in the middle of his performance, abruptly paused the show as soon he saw Morello flying off the stage. He repeatedly yelled, “hold up, hold up, hold up” as the music stopped. Zack was spotted sitting during his set as he was injured during one of his previous performances. Speaking of Morello, he was quickly given help as he returned to his post as the crowd cheered. The band has, so far, not shared an official statement. Even Morello has stayed mum on the incident.
