Yes, we agree the Hollywood A-lister hasn’t had a high-profile affair since his divorce from former wife Katie Holmes since 2012, but the gossip birds allege the actor is secretly dating his ‘Mission: Impossible 7’ co-star Hayley Atwell.
According to The Sun, a source spilled the beans, saying, “Tom and Hayley hit it off from day one. They've been meeting up after hours, and she’s been to his London pad. They get on brilliantly, and both seem very happy.” For the unversed, Hayley is 20 years younger to Tom Cruise. The Hollywood star is currently 58 whilst the actress is 38. According to the same website, the rumored couple was spotted holding hands at a recent London screening, which further led to the speculations that they soon might go public with their relationship.
Tom and Hayley have been busy filming for ‘Mission: Impossible 7’ in Rome, Venice, Britain and Norway over the past few weeks. Speaking of Tom’s relationships, prior to Katie Holmes, the actor was married to Nicole Kidman from 1990 to 2001. He has also been previously linked to Elizabeth Moss and Laura Prepon. Whereas the ‘Captain America’ starlet earlier went out with model Evan Jones, but they parted their ways after two years in 2015.
News of the Tom and Hayley’s growing fondness for each other comes after a recording of the ‘Top Gun’ star ranting on set over Covid protocols became viral on the Internet. In the audio clip, the actor, who has been filming his new project from the last few months, can be heard saying, “We want the gold standard. They’re back there in Hollywood making movies right now because of us! Because they believe in us and what we’re doing! I’m on the phone with every f**king studio at night, insurance companies, producers, and they’re looking at us and using us to make their movies. We are creating thousands of jobs you motherf**kers. I don’t ever want to see it again, ever! And if you don’t do it you’re fired, if I see you do it again you’re f**king gone. And if anyone in this crew does it - that’s it, and you too and you too. And you, don’t you ever f**king do it again.”
He further said, “That’s it! No apologies. You can tell it to the people that are losing their f**king homes because our industry is shut down. It’s not going to put food on their table or pay for their college education. That’s what I sleep with every night. The future of this f**king industry! So I’m sorry I am beyond your apologies. I have told you and now I want it and if you don’t do it you’re out. We are not shutting this f**king movie down! Is it understood?”
He then also added, “If I see it again you’re f**king gone — and you are — so you’re going to cost him his job, if I see it on the set you’re gone and you’re gone. That’s it. Am I clear? Do you understand what I want? Do you understand the responsibility that you have? Because I will deal with your reason. And if you can’t be reasonable and I can’t deal with your logic, you’re fired.
