Are there any new cast members for Season 2?
Indeed, and we're very excited by the names. Here's a bit more about them:
Yosuke Kubozuka
When Yosuke broke out in the 1998 TV series 'GTO: Great Teacher Onizuka' it was pretty evident he was going to be a star. Roles in hits such as 'Lipstick', 'Omiai Kekkon' and 'Ikebukuro West Gate Park' soon followed. But it was his role as Saeki Tetsuya in 'Strawberry on the Shortcake' that really made him a household name in Japan. He also starred in popular and acclaimed movies like Martin Scorsese's 'Silence', 'Helter Skelter', and 'Himizu'. Discerning Western audiences will know him from the surprisingly good East-meets-West crime series 'Giri/Haji' which also starred Takehiro Hira and Kelly Macdonald.
Miki Maya
Hiroshima-born Miki is a bonafide star in Japan, earning her boots in the 2000 TV series 'Ai wo kudasai'. She then cemented her well-earned reputation as the consummate talented professional in the TV series 'Kaze no Haruka', in which she played Yuko Kanzaki. She followed this up with numerous notable roles, most famously as Saya Izumi in 'Downtown Rocket' and Sakura Tsukumo in 'Sakura no Oyakodon'.
