LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Todrick Hall, widely recognized as Taylor Swift's one-time close friend, is currently embroiled in a legal battle as he fights against a lawsuit that accuses him of refusing to pay a $126,000 furniture bill. The case against 'Celebrity Big Brother' Season 3 finalist was filed by Showroom Interiors which alleges that Todrick failed to make the required payments for furniture, artwork, and accessories delivered to his rental property in Sherman Oaks, California.

However, the 'I Like Boys' singer vehemently denies any wrongdoing and has requested the court to dismiss the complaint. Court documents obtained by RadarOnline, reveal Showroom Interiors claims that Todrick Hall agreed to pay $196,748 in exchange for the furniture items delivered to his Sherman Oaks rental in 2021.

Showroom Interiors insists that he still owes an outstanding amount of $126,000

However, the company alleges that the 'Queen' singer failed to fulfill his payment obligations. While he did pay $70,000 of the bill, Showroom Interiors insists that he still owes an outstanding amount of $126,000. In response to the allegations, Todrick Hall firmly denies any wrongdoing. He argues that Showroom Interiors breached their contractual obligations by failing to perform as agreed upon, which, in turn, terminated his payment obligations.

In his recently-filed response, Todrick states, "[Showroom Interiors] breached by not performing its performance obligations contemplated by the contract at issue and/or the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing and, therefore, terminated [Todrick's] performance obligations prior to [Showroom Interiors] terminating his payments."

The owner of the home where Todrick resided sued him for alleged $60,000 in back rent

The case is ongoing and 'Nails, Hair, Hips, Heels' singer's legal team is actively fighting to have it dismissed. Despite the allegations, Todrick maintains his innocence and denies any responsibility for the outstanding payment. Interestingly, this furniture dispute is intertwined with another legal battle involving Todrick. In 2022, the owner of the home where Todrick resided sued him for alleged $60,000 in back rent.

The lawsuit claimed that Todrick had agreed to pay $30,000 per month in rent but had stopped making payments. This lawsuit surprised many of Todrick's followers who believed he owned the home based on claims he made on his YouTube channel. "I have been wanting to buy a home for a very, very long time and this is a dream come true," Todrick expressed in a video, further adding to the confusion surrounding his living arrangements. Even though the video has been now made private the earlier video where he made claims that he was to buy a home is still available.

'You have no idea I have been so stressed...buying a home is so stressful'

In the video, which he titled 'Buying My Dream Home' Todrick expressed the stress over buying a new home as he says," I have never been so stressed in my life. You have no idea I have been so stressed...buying a home is so stressful...all the paperwork." He even went on to make his fans believed that he was buying his own home by sharing some of the things which are important in life. "Somebody told me the other day that there are four things that are the most stressful things that a human will ever experience: buying a home, having a child, planning a wedding, and preparing a funeral."

Although a Los Angeles Superior Court judge initially ordered Todrick to pay $102,000 to his former landlord after he failed to appear in court, the judgment was later vacated when Todrick finally showed up for the court hearing. Currently, he is actively seeking to have the entire case dismissed.
