'Today's Al Roker enjoys boat ride with family as daughter Leila Roker is back in hometown

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: 'Today' weather reporter Al Roker enjoyed family time at a lake over the weekend after a long-awaited reunion with his youngest daughter, Leila Roker. Al and his wife, Deborah Roberts, took to Instagram to share glimpses of their happy moments with their followers.

Leila, the daughter of NBC weather anchor Al and ABC journalist Deborah, was recently spotted in her New York City home. As she primarily lives in France, Leila is rarely seen at home. The published writer, fashion addict, yogi, and contributor to TMRW was also seen enjoying with the family at brother Nick's 21st birthday.

During the weekend, Roker spent a memorable time with his family, as seen in his Instagram post. Al's youngest daughter, Leila, held the camera as she filmed her family enjoying their time on the lake. She looked happy and content while sending much-needed quality time with her parents and brother. Moreover, Al, 68, wore a big smile while sitting at the boat's wheel, sporting casual attire fit for a fun outing. Deborah, the host of ‘Good Morning America’, was seen at the back, wearing a loose blue dress and a wide-brim hat while another family member or friend waved cheerfully at the camera. Leila's brother, Nick, also joined the group, waving and smiling alongside everyone else. Al captioned the post, “So good having @cleilapatra back on the lake after 5 years." 

Leila Roker is back at her home

Leila pursued a journalism degree at the American University of Paris. After graduating, she landed a job overseas that enabled her to remain in France. In 2021, when she graduated, Leila shared pictures of her parents visiting her in Paris. One of the photos depicted the family enjoying dinner at a restaurant with the iconic Eiffel Tower in the background. Recently, she traveled back to her hometown to be part of her brother's birthday festivities. During this visit, she also had the opportunity to meet her baby niece, Sky, the daughter of her older sister Courtney Roker, for the first time.
