'Today' host Savannah Guthrie lauds Jenna Bush Hager for making the cover of People amid absence from show
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Today’ host Savannah Guthrie seems to have resurfaced after being absent from the NBC show to congratulate co-host Jenna Bush Hager on her new magazine issue.
Although Guthrie was present on Monday, August 14, and Tuesday, August 15, she was conspicuously absent from the show on Wednesday, August 16.
Guthrie has not revealed where she is. However, Hoda Kotb said that her co-host was feeling “under the weather” and might return by Friday, August 18. Despite it all, the 51-year-old took to Instagram to share a sweet message for Hager.

Guthrie put out an Instagram post showing the latest issue of People magazine that had Hager on the cover.
Guthrie captioned the post, “Just LOOK at this beauty. and then read about her in the new @people. she is every bit exactly who you hope and believe she is. proud proud proud of you @jennabhager."
Kotb also lauded Hager for her notable achievements and for making the cover of People.

Savannah Guthrie’s mother-daughter time with Vale
After a brief hiatus last week, Guthrie returned to the ‘Today’ Show studio last Thursday, August 10. She revealed a memorable encounter with an A-list friend at a Taylor Swift concert in Los Angeles.
Aside from relishing Swift's music and enjoying some quality time with her daughter, Vale, Guthrie also had the chance to reconnect with old friends. One of Guthrie's posts featured a snapshot with ‘Law & Order’ star Mariska Hargitay.
In the post, Guthrie shared the joy of being Swifties with Hargitay and they flaunted their matching friendship bracelets. The two appeared in two selfies.
Hargitay responded to the post with enthusiasm. The photos showed Guthrie sporting a "Swift 89" t-shirt and Hargitay in a 1989 t-shirt adorned with seagulls.
