'Today’ host Carson Daly’s rarely-seen son Jackson, 14, shows off impressive cooking skills in new pics
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Today’ show enthusiasts were pleasantly surprised as host Carson Daly's son Jackson showcased his exceptional culinary skills in an Instagram photo. A snapshot shared by Daly’s wife Siri captured their 14-year-old son holding off a giant Beef Wellington dish on a cutting board. The teen was grinning widely in the picture.
Earlier in March, Jackson debuted on ‘Today’ interviewing Blake Shelton for Daly’s 'Pop Start' segment. He also hosted a segment on NBC News 'Nightly Kids Edition', where he and Blake discussed the latter's final season on ‘The Voice’. During the interview, Blake candidly advised Jackson that music might not be his path, given his singing abilities. However, it appeared Jackson had some potential in TV hosting.

A notoriously difficult dish
Siri's caption on the snapshot read, "Scenes from the weekend…Starting Friday night when Jackson made us @gordongram’s Beef Wellington and made it perfectly, I might add. I swear I’ll cook something myself someday soon. Maybe. Ventured to @littlespain at Hudson Yards for oysters and gin & tonics at #Mar. Delightful. Dined at @thepolobar for the first time… let’s just say it lives up to the hype and the Classic Martini (served with an oyster + caviar) is the way to go. Saw @shuckedmusical on Broadway - my face hurt from laughing! It’s the most clever, enjoyable show and to watch @thealexnewell sing live was an experience I’ll NEVER forget (and yes, I bought CORN chips at intermission). Finished the weekend with an early birthday celebration for London (aka Chungy) and she requested my Chocolate Dream Layer Cake from #SiriouslyDelicious (edible Shrek cake topper from @amazon).”
Jackson followed Gordon Ramsay's notoriously challenging recipe for the dish. Siri also shared photos of her dining experiences, featuring oysters, gin and tonics, Classic Martinis, and elegant dishes like oysters and caviar. She recounted the weekend's highlights, including a Broadway musical outing to 'Shucked', and showcased her daughter London's 9th birthday cake.
