‘Today’ host Carson Daly has fans concerned over his 'cryptic' post amid continued absence from NBC show
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Today’ host Carson Daly has his fans concerned about his whereabouts after he went missing from his NBC show for another week.
On the latest episode of the 'Today' show, Daly was reportedly gone and nowhere to be seen.
His fans expressed concern and asked the reason for his long absence.
Before his sudden absence, however, Daly’s last appearance in his usual PopStart segment was special, as he introduced his eldest son, Jackson’s interview with hip-hop sensation LL Cool J.
He called his son a “hard-hitting journalist” and a past “PopStart graphics assistant.”
Jackson explored LL's views on hip-hop's evolution as Daly emphasized Jackson's understanding of music.
'Today' host Craig Melvin also praised Jackson's interviewing skills, and Daly encouraged his son to pursue journalism rather than a rap career.
Even recently, he took to Instagram and paid his tribute to Smash Mouth frontman Steve Harwell's death.
Daly posted two different snaps with a heartfelt caption, while fans got teary-eyed in the comments section.

Where is Carson Daly?
‘Today’ longtime host Carson Daly has been reportedly missing from the morning show since August 11 and the real reason behind his absence hasn’t been disclosed.
For the latest ‘Today’ episode, Dylan Dreyer filled in for Daly’s PopStart entertainment segment.
However, Daly did reappear on social media to share some of his current favorite music, posting a YouTube video featuring the band The Red Clay Strays on his Instagram.
On Sunday, September 3, Daly captioned his Instagram post with "Happy Labor Day listening," but he didn't address his recent extended absence in the caption or provide any explanation.

Fans concerned about Carson Daly’s absence from 'Today'
Many fans expressed their delight at the anchor's return to social media, even if only momentarily.
Instead of discussing the post, however, many left comments inquiring about Daly’s recent absence and expressing curiosity about his well-being.
