NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Today’ host Al Roker’s wife, Deborah Roberts recently threw herself into an intense workout after enjoying a lavish family vacation during the Fourth of July week holidays. The American TV journalist donned shorts and a tank top and posted a series of snaps on her Instagram Story.
Al Roker had a fun time with his wife, Deborah Roberts, and son, Nick during their getaway on a lake. The family also welcomed their first grandchild, Sky, from Roker’s eldest daughter, Courtney Roker Laga. Roker shares Courtney from her previous marriage to Alice Bell and recently discussed being a first-time grandfather to Sky.
Deborah Roberts ‘back to grind’
Roberts, 62, recorded herself walking into the gym, expressing her return to the routine as she told her followers, “Back to the grind.” She documented her entrance into the gym and snippets of her workout session. One video showcased her gripping two heavy ropes and rhythmically slamming them to the ground, accompanied by the caption "Whipping it up,” she demonstrated her determination. Another clip featured her performing crunches on a weight bench. She also engaged in exercises such as rowing and pulling a weighted bar at an angle. Roberts exhibited her agility by repeatedly tossing and catching a medicine ball. Lastly, she shared a post-workout photo as she departed from the gym.

Al Roker and Deborah Roberts' getaway
Roberts and Roker recently embarked on a delightful getaway together. A video from their trip captured Roberts standing on a boat's side, surrounded by water and trees lining the banks. She appeared makeup-free with her hair pulled back into a ponytail, holding an orange float under her arms. Roker, holding the camera, encouraged Roberts to proceed while standing on the platform. Nervously smiling, Roberts exclaimed, "Here we go!" and bravely leaped off the boat, creating a splash a few yards away. Her family cheered as she resurfaced, and Roberts declared, "It's not bad!" She captioned the video as "That first summer lake plunge!" Additionally, Roberts shared a photo of herself in a bikini, showcasing her happy smile, strong abs, and toned arms.
The couple had an eventful time recently as their daughter Courtney gave birth to a baby girl named Sky. Roker enthusiastically shared the first photos of Sky on Instagram, expressing his love and excitement. He thanked Courtney and her partner Wes for this beautiful blessing and already planned ways to spoil the baby.
