'Today' host Al Roker announces daughter Courtney's due date and it's super soon
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Today' host Al Roker has revealed the due date of his daughter in the most unexpected and unusual way ever. The 68-year-old to-be grandfather took to Instagram to announce this wonderful news but it was not through a post or story.
The host shared the due date under his fellow 'Today' alum Kathie Lee Gifford's post in a comment. It seems that he was so excited that he could not help himself.

It was through Kathie's post of her share of good news that Al decided to reveal his own piece of excitement to show how he could relate to her. Kathie recently posted a photo of her newly born grandson Finn, announcing the birth of her daughter Cassidy's child. The post is one of the first looks at the baby which Kathie captioned with, "What a joy to spend sweet time with baby FINN. I am the most blessed of women. It seems! Happy Fourth of July everybody."

Al was one of the many who lined up with their wishes and congratulations for Kathie and their family. But along with that, he remembered to also share that he is going to officially become a grandfather soon. His comment read, "Right behind you, KLG. Ours is due tomorrow." He also shared his heartiest wishes with another comment that read, "God bless little Finn."
Courtney Roker's pregnancy
Courtney first announced her pregnancy back in March 2023 through an Instagram post. The post was a video collection of Courtney and her husband Wesley Laga's wholesome memories which moved on to show a clip of Courtney's sonography. She captioned the post with, "A new adventure is about to begin."

Al has previously talked about Courtney's baby, including once in an interview with Entertainment Tonight two months after the first announcement. He shared how the sex of the child was unknowingly revealed to him by his daughter and he felt incredibly dejected over losing the element of surprise on the birth of the child. He had previously revealed the due date to be in June.
