TJ Miller says he won't work with Ryan Reynolds as 'Deadpool' actor 'hates him', internet sighs in relief
GLENDALE, CALIFORNIA: Deadpool actor TJ Miller recently claimed in an interview on the 'Adam Corolla Show' podcast on Sunday, October 5, that he won't work with Ryan Reynolds again as the actor hated him. The actor also claimed that he will not be a part of 'Deadpool 3.'
According to Page Six, the actor stated, “Would I work with him again? No, I would not work with him again. I got along with him a lot better on the first Deadpool because he wasn’t a huge, huge movie star." He claimed that Ryan was "horrifically mean" to him during filming.

The duo became very popular after the success of 'Deadpool' in 2016 and its sequel, 'Deadpool 2', in 2018. The actor also mentioned that he liked Ryan as a comedian. “We had a really weird moment on Deadpool where he said, ‘Let’s do one more take.’ And then, as the character, he was horrifically mean to me as if I’m Weasel. So he was like, ‘You know what’s great about you, Weasel? You’re not the star, but you do just enough exposition so that it’s funny, and then we can leave and get back to the real movie,'" Miller said.
Miller also stated, "I just kind of listened and thought it was weird, and then I got off stage because they were like, 'Cut…?,'" The actor explained that the duo had a deeper connection outside the film as well. However, this jab was in fact, a surprise for him. He said, "That's exactly why he said that, because I'm not funnier than he is at all, right? And I haven't been in more movies than him."
The actor also added, "I sorta wish him well because he's so good at Deadpool, and I think it's weird that he hates me." Then he stated, "He's such a good comedian that, when you cover his face, he's so quick, he's so funny, I love him as a comedian, but I think after he got super, super famous from the first Deadpool, then things kinda changed. I think he was like, 'See? You guys see?'"
Miller also mentioned that his stance on Ryan might change. "I've said that about Michael Bay, and now we're friends, and I would work with him again," said the actor. He added, "I don't wish them any ill will. I think [Reynolds] should make a Deadpool 3 and continue to make movies. I just think he doesn't like me, and I thought it was weird how he expressed that."
Miller has also been embroiled in various issues in the recent past. In 2017, he was accused by a woman of sexual assault, which he denied. Later, in 2018, he was accused of bullying an actor on the sets of 'Silicon Valley'. The same year, he allegedly made a fake bomb threat while on board an Amtrak train. The federal charges were dropped by claiming his past brain surgery as a factor, reported Entertainment Weekly.
