Who is Jazzmyn Wollfe? TikToker trolled for tattoo of Johnny Depp's lawyer Camille Vasquez
A TikTok user with a tattooed photo of Johnny Depp's lawyer Camille Vasquez called out on her online trolls and remarked them "insane." Canadian singer-songwriter Jazzmyn Wollfe first posted her tattoo viral video on her TikTok account last week and since then the video has gained over a million views.
In the 10-second video, 27-year-old Wollfe can be seen with Vasquez and the word "objection" inked on her left knee. In the six-week trial, Vasquez became the center of attention on social media with her brutal cross-examination of Amber Heard. The lawyer was also in rumors of dating Johnny Depp and fans hoped both of them to end up together after the trial ends. However, Depp's representative later denied a romantic relationship.
The viral video has attracted both positive and negative responses. Wollfe told Insider that critics make assumptions about her and her beliefs based solely on the tattoo. "I was deeply upset from a lot of the things people were saying and assuming," Wollfe stated. "Many people have made assumptions about my own personal beliefs. They said that I'm advocating for abuse, and that couldn't be farther from true." Wolffe further added that she was aware of a "strange, essentially sexist belief" that men could not be victims of abuse.

According to Wollfe, the hand-poked tattoo took about an hour to complete. Wollfe revealed to Insider that tattoo artists were repeatedly examining images until they reach the desired "darkness" and "depth."
"I found it amazing to see somebody advocating for that and trying to bring justice to an unjust situation," Wollfe further describes why she admires Vasquez. "The way Camille conducted herself was very powerful. I wanted to memorialize how I felt in that moment watching her."
"I recently left an abusive relationship where I spent years suppressing my own voice and my own pain for the convenience of a narcissistic abuser," Wollfe said. "So, to see somebody fighting back against that in such an impressive manner, I really took inspiration from that moment."
For Wolffe, tattoos are more than just a piece of breaking news. "I just wanted it to be a symbol of strength," she said.
On Wednesday, June 1, a jury ruled in favor of Johnny Depp in his lawsuit against ex-wife Amber Heard. Both Depp and his ex-wife, Amber Heard, were found liable for defamation and were ordered by a jury to pay damages, thus ending a long trial of allegations of domestic violence. Heard has been ordered to pay $15 million in damages, including $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages. The jury also awarded her compensatory damages of $2 million because she was defamed when Depp's lawyer Adam Waldman called her abuse allegations a hoax.
When the verdict was announced, Vasquez could be seen turning to her colleagues with tears in her eyes whilst smiling, as she mouthed the words "we won".
