Tiger Woods' girlfriend Erica Herman refutes split rumors over no-shows with golfer at major tournaments: 'Great, with no end in sight'
Erica Herman often accompanies boyfriend Tiger Woods at various tournaments, but she hasn't been spotted cheering for the golfer since his April 2019 Masters victory, thereby sparking speculations of a possible split. But speaking to Radar Online, Herman revealed the pair are going strong as ever.
“We haven’t split,” the 34-year-old told Radar. “I’ve been to every tournament he’s been at.”
According to Herman, who serves as Director of Operations at Tiger's Florida eatery The Woods Jupiter, she hasn't been photographed only because she “doesn’t like public attention.” “Our relationship is great,” she asserted. “Great, with no end in sight.”
The golfing legend won his fifth Masters title in April 2019 -- his first major championship win in more than a decade.
Woods' golf career slumped in 2009 after he allegedly cheated on then-wife Elin Nordegren, who is now expecting a child with former NFL star Jordan Cameron. That said, Herman has been majorly credited for his comeback after his April 2019 Masters win. She was last spotted with Woods and his children with Nordegren, Sam, 12, and Charlie, 10, on May 6 when President Donald Trump bestowed on him the Presidential Medal of Freedom for his win.
That said, Woods' career took a dive once again after the Masters. Herman did not show up at the 2019 PGA Championship in mid-May, where the golf ace missed the cut by just one stroke.
In June, he finished nine-under for the 2019 Memorial Tournament, and had no luck even at the US Open, which took place later that month.
Herman also wasn't spotted by his side at the Open Championship the following month. On July 18, the first day of the tournament Woods carded a seven-over 78, and did not qualify for the next round. Woods was then forced to pull out of the 2019 Northern Trust tournament just hours before his second round because of an oblique strain injury, finishing the season at seven under par.
The American golfer met brunette beauty Herman when she worked as a manager at his aforementioned restaurant, before going public with their relationship in November 2017.
