Thomas revealed that he has not spoken to his daughter since her wedding which took place in May 2018. He also admitted that he cried as he watched her marry Prince Harry. "I stayed in a safe house and watched the wedding. My daughter looked beautiful. I wish that I could have been there with her. I was certainly appreciative Charles was there," Thomas said.

However, he further added that he was 'jealous' of Prince Charles as he watched the ceremony on TV and said that walking his daughter down the aisle was something that he had really wanted to do. "I admit I cried a bit about that. To this day I can't forget that moment, she was beautiful. It was a nice wedding," the 75-year-old said.

Thomas also defended his decision to speak out in the documentary and shared, "At this point, they owe me. The royals owe me. Harry owes me, Meghan owes me. What I've been through I should be rewarded for. My daughter told me that when I reach my senior years she'll take care of me. I'm in my senior years now – it's time to look after Daddy."

He also described his complicated relationship with Harry and Meghan. "To them, I don't exist and now Harry, whether he realizes it or not, is part of my family and I'm part of his. We should be talking. He's not 12 years old anymore – he's got no right to be this sensitive."
