NEW YORK, NEW YORK CITY: Macy's 97th Thanksgiving Day Parade took an unexpected turn this year, leaving viewers bewildered.

While millions tuned in for the annual spectacle, the event left audiences with mixed reactions and a notable head-scratching moment featuring a three-minute ode to corn by the Green Giant float performers.

What is Macy's Thanksgiving Parade?

The parade, a hallmark of Thanksgiving tradition, encountered its fair share of eccentricities, including a performer's racy introduction of a popular float that added an extra layer of surprise for the audience.

The spectacle, however, experienced some disruptions. It was briefly interrupted by Pro-Palestine protesters who invaded the parade route. The event resumed without further incident following their swift arrest and removal from the path of the parade, which continued towards Macy's flagship store in Herald Square.
