'This place is gross AF': Woman makes DISGUSTING find in meal at Florida Slim Chickens
PENSACOLA, FLORIDA: A woman from Florida has shared a bizarre dining experience on her social media handle. Haile Kirkland shared several photos and videos of her cockroach-infused dish and called out a popular food chain for serving her the "gross" meal.
Kirkland has said that after the dish was served, she took a few bites and noticed a cockroach in it. She shared a series of pictures and photos on Facebook and wrote, "Had a cockroach cooked into my chicken at Slim Chickens on 9 miles in Pensacola and the manager could care less. He said oops sorry like what do you want a refund or something. Very disgusting and unprofessional. Get your shit together people. EDIT: the new videos are from the kitchen sent to me by an employee. This place is gross AF."

'Oh, that's a whole bug'
One person commented under the post, "We just went there today. OMG." Another, who also visited the restaurant, said, "Well now I wanna puke. We just ate there an hour ago." One suggested, "Upload it to the Pensacola foodies group lol. It'll blow up in there."
“When I first saw it, I thought at first it was a burnt spot. And then when I picked it up, I was like, ‘Oh, that’s a whole bug. It’s literally cooked around into it like the legs and stuff are, and it was solid on there," Kirkland said in an interview with WEAR-TV.
Inspection finds more roaches
Last week, after Kirkland's videos went viral, inspectors with the Department of Business and Professional Regulation inspected the restaurant. Around 20 dead cockroaches were seen inside the restaurant store. The Slim Chickens owner said that he “immediately contacted pest control,” and the restaurant has been “treated daily since the incident.”
Kirkland has also been offered a full refund, $100 worth of gift cards from Slim Chickens, and an apology. However, whether she will use those is a different question. She said, “It’s gonna take some time. I would have to know they clean that and deal with management and get with Ecolab, and it’s clean in there. I’m not gonna lie, they have probably some of the best food and chicken in town. But I need it to be clean."
