Randall and Beth contemplate what could be the issue. Randall believes Deja is pregnant while Beth believes that Deja wants to adopt Malik’s daughter and live with them. After thinking about what could happen between the two, they realize that they need a new game. The next day, Malik arrives and makes dinner for the entire family. He also apologizes for what happened and said that he wanted to apologize in person.

During the conversation, Beth and Randall’s other children also chip in by asking Beth about her work and telling knock-knock jokes. Beth understands that there is something fishy going out here and asks what’s the deal. Deja tells her parents that she is going to finish her semester next month and will be moving with Malik to Boston after that. Randall and Beth are stunned after hearing that.

The whole conversation turns serious when they say that Deaj will be graduating early and she can take the other classes later this year. Malik says that they support each other and Randall laughs a bit, to which, Deja says “It’s rude.” However, it makes Randall frustrated and he says, “You all are rude.” Although Deja starts to take the conversation in another direction, Randall says that he’s not having this conversation.

Randall walks out and Malik follows him. Randall tells him to end the relationship so that Deja can concentrate on her important years. Malik says that he won’t tell her about this conversation because if he does, Deja won’t be happy about it. He also reveals that he loves her and won’t leave her. Beth and Randall have a conversation about this with Randall telling her how Deja is losing her path. However, Beth said how dangerous it could be for them if they tried to end the relationship.

She asks Randall what could have happened if he was told that he can't date her.

Let’s see how Randall handles this situation and if he allows his daughter to move to Boston.

‘This Is Us’ Season 6 will now return to NBC after the Winter Olympics.
