'They let anyone come now': Lala Kent trolled as she's invited to White House Correspondents Dinner
WASHINGTON, DC: Lala Kent recently confirmed she will be attending the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner on Saturday, April 29. But as the Bravo celeb took to her Instagram to share a series of photos before her White House visit, she was brutally trolled by her followers who questioned her invitation.
This weekend, as invited guests of Daily Mail, Lisa Vanderpump and Ariana Madix go to Washington, DC, to attend the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner, the nation's capital is about to learn a lesson in a brand-new set of regulations known as the 'Vanderpump Rules'. The controversies surrounding DC politics may be the only drama now able to rival what has been happening this season on 'Vanderpump Rules'. Lisa and Ariana, who were first-timers at the WHCA event, exclusively raved to Daily Mail about their enthusiasm. "I don't know what's more complicated reality television or politics – I guess I'll find out on Saturday evening," joked Lisa. Things are likely to get a lot hotter now that Lala has confirmed the visitation.

Lala confirms invitation to White House
Lala announced her attendance as a guest of the Los Angeles Times on Instagram Stories in a video that also showed her experimenting with outfits for the big event. On April 28, Lala returned to Instagram, this time with a series of photographs of herself dressed in a body-hugging blue deep-cut floor-length gown. She captured herself strolling down a corridor in what seemed to be a fancy hotel suite. In one of the pictures, she also poses in front of a grand picture.
Lala captioned her post by quoting fellow Bravo star and 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills', "I say important sh*t. You say too much boring sh*t."
'Legit correspondents need recognition and this isn’t it'
Once her followers learned about her invite to the White House, the Bravo star was met with some unpleasant comments. One wrote, "you have got to be joking! Jesus, they let anyone who is nobody come now." Rolling eyes back at the situation, a user commented, "Yeah, just what we need. This is why we’re digressing as a nation." Another person asked, "Who poses like that if she is indeed in White House!!!" One questioned, "Lala I love you! But let me know how many Veterans, who actually fought for freedom. Was invited to that event!!"
One follower bashed her as they said, "I did like her , now she just thinks she's better then everyone , and because she's " been through shit " makes her a better person than others , just a nasty personality and demeanor towards others." Calling it as an insult, one wrote, "this is insulting to everyone who earned a seat at the correspondents dinner. Why are they there? Now I love VPR and housewives but legit correspondents need recognition and this isn’t it."
Referencing back to her caption, one wrote, "well that makes sense then... THANK YOU- Now I get the "THEY" of her "They say Too much BORING SH*T" ... Anyone near that place anymore - doesn't have a brain to pick an answer from a multiple choice question - I thought LALA was done with liars , now shes dining with the crew of them- Why waste that beautiful dress there ¿" Throwing a shade at her for her caption, another person commented, "The second you think you are important is the second you aren't."
